5 YEARS AND COUNTING!

{An open letter to my loving husband on our 5th Wedding Anniversary!}

Dearest David, 

Today we celebrate a great milestone and a beautiful love. I have been so blessed to have found you and married you those 5 years ago. You have shown me a love that I could never have dreamed of for myself. Your understanding and patience toward me are far beyond what I deserve. You have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and better myself. 

I know that I have not always been easy to love, but you did anyways. You loved me harder and stronger during those difficult days. You've nursed me during my sick days and comforted me during my cloudy days. 

You are the manliest man I have ever known and could even fix the sun if it ever broke. You love my family and I love you even more for that. You make me laugh, you hold my hand and you look at me like I'm a super model. 

I am so excited to start this new journey in Fort Worth with you. Just the two of us. Against the world. Thank you for loving me the way you do. Thank you for leading our family in the best direction. And thank you for being you. I pray that God will continue to bless us with this love for decades to come. I love you so much, it makes my heart hurt. I will love you forever, my Prince Charming.

CELEBRATING THE BIRTH OF MY WONDERFUL MAN!

Have you ever loved someone so much it makes your heart hurt? Every day you look forward to going home from work just to be with that person. Today, I celebrate the birth of the man who has given me too much love to handle. He's a genius. He's talented. He's not afraid to try new things. He's dedicated. He loves unconditionally. He's supportive. He's giving. He's not a great teacher, but he tries to be! He pushes me to be the best me I can be. He's a great father to our doggies. He's a great uncle to our nephews. He's a great son to his parents. But most importantly (to me, anyways) he is a FAN-FREAKIN-TASTIC Husband!!!

David, even though my heart hurts from holding so much love for you, I couldn't imagine my life any other way. You make me the happiest, most joyous girl in the world just for loving me the way that you do! I love you more than my heart can hold and I hope today, on your 28th birthday, that you will know how important you are to everyone around you, especially me! And the doggies! Happy birthday, Love!
