EMA + RAFAEL : MIDLAND, TX GOLDEN ANNIVERSARY

Last month I was honored to photograph a beautiful couple's Golden Anniversary! Ema and Rafael celebrated fifty, yes, FIFTY years of marriage! Talk about a huge milestone! They started with a lovely renewal ceremony at St. Ann's Catholic church in Midland, TX and ended the day with some cake, mariachis and fun with their family and friends. These two are truly an inspiration and I pray many more years of a blessed marriage for them!

{An open letter to my loving husband on our 5th Wedding Anniversary!}

Dearest David, 

Today we celebrate a great milestone and a beautiful love. I have been so blessed to have found you and married you those 5 years ago. You have shown me a love that I could never have dreamed of for myself. Your understanding and patience toward me are far beyond what I deserve. You have always encouraged me to follow my dreams and better myself. 

I know that I have not always been easy to love, but you did anyways. You loved me harder and stronger during those difficult days. You've nursed me during my sick days and comforted me during my cloudy days. 

You are the manliest man I have ever known and could even fix the sun if it ever broke. You love my family and I love you even more for that. You make me laugh, you hold my hand and you look at me like I'm a super model. 

I am so excited to start this new journey in Fort Worth with you. Just the two of us. Against the world. Thank you for loving me the way you do. Thank you for leading our family in the best direction. And thank you for being you. I pray that God will continue to bless us with this love for decades to come. I love you so much, it makes my heart hurt. I will love you forever, my Prince Charming.

JESSICA + DANIEL: MIDLAND ENGAGEMENT

Daniel and Jessica are so in love! And I mean SO IN LOVE! They met on Myspace several years ago and the rest is history! We had so much fun taking their photos on Daniel's aunt's beautiful property! I cannot wait for their wedding this Saturday, I'm sure they know how to throw one heck of a PARTAY!
