HAPPY 2ND BIRTHDAY, MAEBRY!!

Two years ago on this day, a very strong, determined and independent little girl was introduced into the world. Mom and I were preparing to take a trip to Alaska to meet my favorite and only niece, Maebry! It amazes me how quickly she has grown and how quickly 2 years has passed. It's easy to smile when Maebry is in the room! She is strong willed, intelligent and kind. She knows what she likes and makes sure that you know it too! She is so happy and so much fun!  I am so grateful that she is in Texas now and we can see her almost any time we'd like! I'm excited to witness this beautiful girl growing up! Happy Birthday to the sweetest and prettiest girl I've ever loved! I pray Christ's love, kindness and light shines through you always. Tia loves you, Maebs!!

MARISSA : UNT SENIOR

I've had the pleasure of knowing Marissa for almost 10 years now! She was one of the youth at the ministry I mentored at several years ago and it has been so wonderful to watch her grow into the bright young woman she is today. 4 years ago, I was privileged to photograph Marissa's high school senior photos and now, she's graduating from college! 

Marissa, I am so proud of all you have accomplished and I cannot wait to see where you will go next! The world is so lucky to have such a bright and intelligent young woman to make a difference in it! Congrats, University of North Texas grad!!

HAPPY 9TH BIRTHDAY, JORDAN!

Jordan, you were my first nephew ever so I feel a special bond with you. You were the first child in my life that I truly loved as my own. You are a bright, hilarious, inquisitive ball of energy. Every day I am astounded at your growth in knowledge and abilities. Today, on your 9th birthday, I want you to know that I am so proud of you! I pray that you will always seek more knowledge. I pray that you will learn to be kind and compassionate toward others every day of your life. I pray that you always hold Christ deep in your heart and allow him to shine through you. I pray success and happiness over you. I know there are marvelous things to look forward to in your future and I pray that you never stop trying and working toward them. You are a wonderful young man and you are truly loved. Thank you for being so much fun and I pray that each birthday is better than the last. Tia Marivelle loves you, Jordy!

HAPPY 8TH BIRTHDAY, JOSHUA!

Joshua, today you turn 8 years old and I am in total disbelief. I remember the day you were born and how I held you in my arms and now you've grown into a wonderful young man. Joshua, I want you to know that I love you too much. I am so proud of the kind, loving, gentle, smart young man that you have become. You are incredible and you are destined for greatness. I know that you will grow up to be a big success. I pray that you will always know just how special a kid you are. I pray that you will always know that there is so much love around you. I pray that you will always see the good in others and the bright side of every situation. I pray that you will never allow anything to bring you down or keep you from knowing just how wonderful you are. And most of all, I pray that you will always allow Christ's light to shine through you. I know most of this means nothing to you right now, but I hope that one day, when I am an old lady, you will find this blog, learn a little more about your Tia Marivelle, and choose not to put me in that nursing home! ;) I love you so much, buddy.
